Overview

The  SAS3224-24i  controller card is designed based on the Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) controller card (24 12 Gbit/s ports) of the Fusion-MPT™ architecture. It supports the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 3.0 x8 port and a powerful I/O storage engine, and transparently performs data protection, verification, and restoration.

 

The SAS3224-24i  provides the 3 Gbit/s, 6 Gbit/s, and 12 Gbit/s SAS ports and 3 Gbit/s and 6 Gbit/s SATA ports, with each port supporting the SSP, SMP, and STP.

 

The SAS3224-24i i supports boot and operations in legacy and UEFI modes.

 

The SAS3224-24i i provides only the drive passthrough function. Operations related to RAID arrays cannot be performed.
